Cross-Regional DIH Community Day, May 6th 2022

Arctic Data Intelligence and Supercomputing Ecosystem in Kainuu (AIKA), DIH and DigiCenter North Savo organized the 2022 Cross-Regional Finnish DIH Community Day: Green and Digital Transition in Manufacturing.

There is no green deal without digital. Twinning these transitions require new type of knowledge, tools, methods, processes and investments from SMEs. In this community day, we discussed how Finnish organizations are innovating to enable transition towards this greener, and more digital world. The topics of the event covered: Artificial intelligence and how to apply it in wood&forest domain; development of smart city platform that supports data economy, digital transformation of a forest machine operator’s business through an IoT based tank level monitoring and virtual job introduction environment, and improving order management of forestry supplies by a mobile smart order service, a short summary of the DIH-World project. 23 participants including regional development officers, researchers, representatives of SMEs and DIH employees  participated in the community day.
